You can list a Mississauga home on MLS® and REALTOR.ca without hiring a full-service agent. ListedBySeller.ca posts it through ICI Source Real Asset Services Inc., Brokerage to TRREB, which covers Mississauga in Peel, plus 13 other PropTx boards. It costs $74.99 a month or $197.93 for 12 months, plus HST, with no listing commission.
Mississauga sellers range from first-time condo owners near the city centre to families moving up or out. Whatever you’re selling, buyers’ agents across the GTA find homes the same way: on the MLS®. A flat fee listing puts you there while you handle the selling yourself.
How does a flat fee MLS® listing work in Mississauga?
- Create your listing online. The process is fully automated: enter your property details, upload up to 40 photos and choose a package.
- Click Submit Property. Your listing is sent to ICI Source Real Asset Services Inc., Brokerage, which posts it on the MLS® for a flat fee.
- Your property goes live on REALTOR.ca and the 14 PropTx MLS® systems that agents use. Typical time from submission: about two days.
- Answer inquiries, book showings and add open houses (free and unlimited) from your account.
- Accept an offer using our free agreements, or with help from your lawyer, then close with your lawyer.
Which MLS® board covers Mississauga, and is it included?
Mississauga is in TRREB’s market area. On TRREB’s own community reports page, Mississauga is listed under the Peel region. The Toronto Regional Real Estate Board, which also includes the former Brampton Real Estate Board, is included in every ListedBySeller.ca package through PropTx. That means agents across Mississauga, Brampton, Toronto and the rest of TRREB’s area can find your listing in their MLS® system, and it appears on REALTOR.ca.
| Area | Board | Included? |
|---|---|---|
| Mississauga (Peel) | TRREB | Yes |
| Brampton (Peel) | TRREB (includes former Brampton Real Estate Board) | Yes |
| City of Toronto | TRREB | Yes |
| Oakville, Burlington, Milton (Halton) | [FILL IN: board coverage for Halton addresses] | [FILL IN] |
How much does it cost to list a Mississauga home?
| Package | Price (plus HST) |
|---|---|
| Month to month (cancel anytime) | $74.99 / month |
| 2 months | $98.99 |
| 3 months | $124.97 |
| 6 months (most popular) | $149.97 |
| 12 months | $197.93 |
Because there’s no commission to the listing brokerage, the fee doesn’t change with your sale price. A $650,000 condo and a $1.6 million detached home pay the same flat fee. The only commission you might pay is to a buyer’s agent, and only if you agree to it.
What should Mississauga sellers get ready?
- Up to 40 photos, covering every room plus the exterior, yard or balcony, and parking.
- Property facts: annual taxes, lot or unit size, year built if known, and condo fees and inclusions.
- Open house dates: postings on REALTOR.ca are free and unlimited, and you can add them from your account.
- A plan for agent inquiries: decide in advance whether you’ll pay a buyer’s agent and how much, so you can answer quickly.
- A real estate lawyer to review offers and close.

What happens after you accept an offer on a Mississauga home?
Once you and the buyer sign an agreement of purchase and sale, the work shifts to the lawyers. Here’s the usual order:
- Deposit: the buyer pays the deposit set out in the agreement. Confirm in writing where it will be held. [FILL IN: who holds the buyer’s deposit on an LBS mere posting]
- Conditions: if the offer depends on financing, inspection or a status certificate review, the buyer has until the stated date to waive or fulfil them.
- Update your listing: mark the listing as sold conditionally or firm, as appropriate, so agents stop booking showings. Changes are free.
- Closing: your lawyer handles title, mortgage discharge and the statement of adjustments. You hand over keys on closing day.
- Cancel the listing: there’s no cancellation fee once your sale is firm.
Throughout, our free agreements and your lawyer cover the paperwork. ListedBySeller.ca doesn’t negotiate on your behalf.
